The 10 weeks deposit is dependant on the applicant also agreeing to using the deposit alternative solution. This is because they are required to pay a fee equivalent to 1 weeks' rent. An applicant cannot be forced into making this decision. If they don't opt-in you will be covered for 7 weeks cover. 2 weeks via the agency guarantee (for 1 year) and 5 weeks standard deposit to be registered.    


To the best of our knowledge this is an Industry first. There are no other letting agency offering such a client value proposition package.  


No. An amazing aspect of this solution is that there is no requirement to lodge the deposit. Meaning there is no pitfalls of missed prescribed information or deadlines.  


8 weeks of cover is via the use of the FCA Regulated third party company Reposit. A claim will be put through by Harper Jayne Homes and the tenant notified about the claim. The tenant will have one opportunity to dispute the claim. If they do not you will receive payment. The additional 2 weeks will be paid directly by Harper Jayne Homes if more than 8 weeks deposit cover is required.
